 AGORA: Access to Global Online Research in Agriculture

The AGORA programme, set up by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the UN (FAO) together with major publishers, enables developing countries to gain access to an outstanding digital library collection in the fields of food, agriculture, environmental science and related social sciences. AGORA provides a collection of up to 15,500 key journals and up to 48,000 books in more than 115 countries. AGORA is one of the five programmes that make up Research4Life: AGORA, HINARI, OARE, ARDI and GOALI.

Directions: Journal of Educational Studies

Strongly recommend for students of Education and related studies at SINU.

It was first published in 1978 by the Institute of Education, the University of the South Pacific. It stopped publications at the end of 2008. The School of Education has taken over and housed the journal in 2016. It is a peer-reviewed journal that publishes research articles, essays, critical comments and book reviews of Pacific education. The journal’s figurehead motif is based on a nineteenth century carving of a ship’s prow from Choiseul, Solomon Islands. It signifies forward movement.
